Devotion of the heart
Psalm 78:36-37
Psa 78:36 Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.
Psa 78:37 For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant.
May these words never be true of me nor those of my household. May Christ's word be as a fire that purifies our hearts, our minds, our consciences, our reins, our wills, our desires, and even our longings. May our hearts ever be true and right before him, and may we walk worthy of the new covenant in his blood (shed for the remission of sins); so that his name might be praised, and so that his praise might shine upon the heathen, even to the ends of the earth. Praise ye the LORD!
