If you've ever visited this site prior to August 2021, you may have noticed a few changes here lately.

TheCallingOfGod.org has been around for about two and a half years, mostly as a portal to Brother Adam's video series on YouTube, The Calling. When Adam and I began the site, I wanted to build it from scratch so that I could use it as a learning experience, to practice the web development skills necessary for my job. The first step was to get the site functional enough to host video and audio series content. Unfortunately, once that bare minimum was accomplished, I became distracted by other things and ended up neglecting the aesthetic aspect of the site for far too long.

Well, this summer, by the grace of God, I suddenly found myself with plenty of time to research and practice the skills and technologies necessary to give the site a much needed overhaul, as well as an overwhelming urgency to focus on things that would have spiritual, eternal value to the souls of men and women.

In addition to styling and designing the layout of the site, we've also been discussing the purpose of this site, and how to engage visitors coming from different backgrounds. We've been gathering content and planning features which we thought would be helpful to you. What you see now is a work in progress, much as we are in Christ. The seed was planted; it is being watered; and we pray that God would give the increase, and multiply our seed sown for his glorious name's sake.
